Eva Feller

Eva Feller, 80, Karlsruhe, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Eva was born March 8, 1932, to Adeline Kupser, in Karlsruhe, but was raised by her grandparents, Philip and Margaret Kupser, as their own daughter. She attended Catholic school in Karlsruhe and graduated in 1950. She then graduated from Minot State Teachers College with her standard teachers certificate.

Eva married Joe Feller on Sept. 29, 1954, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Karlsruhe. They made their home on a farm near Karlsruhe, where she was a homemaker and also taught school part-time along with raising their three children. She was also involved in various organizations and was very much involved with her families. She was also a very good cook, especially German dishes.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Karlsruhe and its Confraternity of Christian Mothers and church choir, the Karlsruhe Senior Citizens, Karlsruhe Homemakers Club, Karlsruhe VFW Auxiliary, Karlsruhe School Board and served as president of Karlsruhe Alumni.

Surviving family includes: husband of 58 years, Joe, Karlsruhe; son, Bryan (Debbie) Feller, Voltaire; daughters, Cindy (Steve) Fennewald, Surrey, and Jackie Feller, Karlsruhe; grandchildren, Joshua Feller and his fiancee, Taylor Stortroen, Jeremy Feller and Samantha Feller and her fiancee, Buck Zertzke; great-grandchildren, LayKin, Brennin, Rylee and Kenadie; sister, Cecila Meyer, Rugby; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eva was preceded in death by her family members Katherine, Adeline, Louie, Theresa, Lena, Margaret, Rose, Elizabeth, Veronica, Regina, Edward and Philip; and maternal grandparents, Margaret and Philip.

Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Karlsruhe.

Interment: Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Karlsruhe.

Visitation: Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Vigil Prayer Service: Sunday at 5 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
