Wesley “Wes” Majestic, 85, of Norwood Young America, Minn., formerly of Minot, N.D., passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Elim Nursing Home in Watertown, Minn.
Wes was born on Feb. 1, 1927, in Minneapolis. He was the son of Adolph and Hylda (Falk) Majestic. Wes graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn., in 1949.
Wes received his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy on Sept. 22, 1946, as an aviation electronic technician mate, third class. He graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn., in 1949.
Wes worked for B.F. Goodrich Tire Company as a sales representative. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.
Wes is survived by his wife, Lois, who has shared more than 62 years of marriage together. He also is survived by his daughter, Jean (Peter) Storer, and son, John (Jill) Majestic, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Private burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.
Memorials will be given to the Norwood Methodist Church and the Elim Nursing Home in Watertown.
