TURKEY DINNER SCHEDULED SUNDAY IN MINOT CHURCH Knights of Columbus Council 9906 will serve a turkey dinner Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the lower level of St. Leo’s Catholic Church, 218-1st St. SE, Minot.

The cost will be $9 for adults and $6 for children ages 6 to 12. There will be no charge for children age 5 and under.

FIRST BAPTIST XYZ TO MEET THURSDAY ?First Baptist Church XYZ, a senior adult ministry for people in the 50-plus age group, will meet Thursday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 200-3rd St. SW, in Minot.

Eileen Emly, of Minot, will present the program “Unpacking Parkinson Support Group.”

Refreshments will be served.

DATE SET FOR HEIFER INTERNATIONAL DINNER IN MINOT ?Congregational United Church of Christ, of Minot, will host its annual fund-raising dinner for Heifer International on Feb. 1 from 4:30 to 7 p.m., in the church at 430 N. Broadway.

Heifer International’s mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth.

There will be no charge for the meal, but donations to Heifer International are requested instead. The suggested donation for adults is $13 and for children age 12 and under is $7.

Advance reservations are not necessary.

SPIRITUAL RETREAT TO BE HELD FEB. 9 IN MINOT CHURCH Court St. Elizabeth #170 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Minot, will host a spiritual retreat for men and women on Feb. 9 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in St. Therese Church of the Little Flower, 800 University Ave. W.

Marks of the Catholic church will be addressed. The Rev. Fred Harvey and Deacon Hans Gayzur, both of Little Flower Church, will be the presenters.

The cost, $10 per person, is payable at the door and will include breakfast and lunch.
