Bishop Ryan boys top Glenburn

GLENBURN – The Bishop Ryan boys basketball team limited Glenburn gunner Houston Lavachek to 14 points in a 57-43 win at Glenburn on Tuesday.

Brenden Backes, Nick Berentson, Jake Magnuson and Jared Will all helped stopped him. Lions coach Scott Medalen said the strategy was to double-team him at every opportunity.

Austin Eggl’s 18 points led the scoring for the 9-7 Lions, who also got 14 points from Mitch Medalen.

Both teams will participate at this weekend’s District 12 Super Saturday. Ryan plays Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood and Glenburn plays Kenmare.
