Attempted murder charges filed after shooting
An early Saturday morning car chase and shooting in Minot has led to multiple charges being filed against two Minot men and one Minot woman.
Nathan Schlosser, 19, has been charged with four counts of attempted murder, a Class A Felony; four counts of terrorizing, a Class C Felony; and four counts of reckless endangerment, a Class C Felony.
Tegan Lamotte, 18, has been charged with four counts of conspiracy to commit murder, a Class AA Felony; four counts of terrorizing, a Class C Felony; and four counts of reckless endangerment/extreme indifference, a Class C Felony.
Kayla Wright, 19, Minot, was charged with one count of terrorizing, a Class C Felony.
According to Minot Police, Stephen Brewer, 19, Minot, arrived at Trinity Hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening wound below his left eye at approximately 12:42 a.m. Saturday. Minot Police reported that a bullet had passed through the windshield of Brewer’s vehicle.
The incident began on South Broadway about 12:30 a.m. Saturday with one vehicle allegedly containing Schlosser, Lamotte and Wright giving chase to a vehicle containing Brewer. According to Minot Police, an undisclosed number of shots were fired during the chase, resulting in Brewer suffering a wound.
The route taken by the two vehicles included 20th Avenue Southeast near the K-Mart. A black Iphone and broken glass was recovered from the street near that location.
The investigation is continuing.
