Adam Richard Menze, 41, Ottertail, Minn., died on Feb. 20, 2013, due to injuries sustained in an airplane accident.
Adam was born on Nov. 14, 1971, to Dale and Linda (Imsande) in Wadena, Minn. He attended school in New York Mills, Minn., graduating in 1990. He went on to attend Southwest State University and North Dakota State University, graduating with his mechanical engineering degree.
He married Rhonda Graff on Aug. 7, 1999, in Carpio. They lived in North Dakota, Iowa and North Carolina while Adam pursued his career in engineering, before building their home in rural Ottertail. Adam started a mechanical engineering consulting company, Quiet Waters Engineering, in 2002.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Orlend Menze.
Adam is survived by his wife and their six children: Ella, Isaac, Paul, Lily, Gloria and Anna; his parents; twin brother, Aaron (Theresa) Menze; grandparents, Delores Menze and Richard and Mildred Imsande; parents-in-law, Dale and Carolyn Graff, Carpio; sisters-in-law, Michell Graff, Lori Graff, Roxanne (Naveen) Murthy and Joleen (Marty) Kastens; and 12 nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ottertail.
Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ottertail.
