John Lade

John Theodore Lade, 74, of Minot, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013.

He was born to John Theodore Ludwig “Ted” and Irene (Klimpel) Lade, on April 1, 1938, in Minot. John grew up on the family farm and in Minot until graduating from Minot High School in 1956. On his return home he opened a TV and radio repair shop. Later he moved into repairing amps, organs and tuning the organs as well as pianos. After a work-related fall that injured his back and hand, he was unable to continue his passion.

He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his parents and helping on the family farm.

John was active in his church and lived his religion. He loved people and was always willing to help someone in need.

Whether he was praising God in song or serving God by helping others, he was truly a man after God’s own heart.
