Marcella Lannoye, 70, Brendle’s Bay near Parshall, and formerly of Minot and Glenburn, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, in her residence.
Marcella was born June 22, 1942, in Coulter, Man., to Erick and Mabel (Peacock) Holstein. She was a registered nurse in Minot and the surrounding area for over 40 years.
Her loving family includes: her husband of 20 years, William; children, Michelle (Chad) Simonson, of Alexander, Mardelle (Barry) Buechler, of Harvey, Stephanie (Sam) Striegel, of Floyds Knobs, Ind., Jacqueline Mathiason, Bloomington, Minn., and Melanie (Allen) Hanson, Dassel, Minn.; stepson, Donald Lannoye, Winthrop, Minn.; and eight grandchildren.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, Erick and Mabel Holstein; and siblings, Eunice Kufflick and Harry Holstein.
Funeral service: Friday, March 15, 2013, at 10 a.m., in Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn.
Interment: Friday at 3 p.m. at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, south of Mandan.
Visitation: Today, March 14, from noon to 3 p.m., in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot, and from 4:30 p.m. until the family service at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn.
Memorials: Are preferred to the North Dakota Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Autism Society of Minnesota.
