Man arrested in stolen vehicle

A Minot man who was found in a stolen vehicle in southeast Minot was arrested late Friday night, according to Minot police.

Police found the stolen vehicle in the 600 block of 20th Street Southeast after it had been reported as stolen earlier that day.

Moises Delgadillo, 32, Minot, was found in the vehicle and was placed under arrest. He was charged for possession of stolen property in excess of $10,000, a Class B felony; actual physical control of a motor vehicle under the influence, a Class B misdemeanor; and for three outstanding city warrants.

Truck hits building, catches fire

A white 1989 Jeep Comanche pickup truck struck an apartment building in the 300 block of 11th Avenue Southwest at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, according to Minot police.

The truck was unoccupied but had been left running when it slipped out of gear and struck the building and then the truck caught fire. There was no damage to the building, but the truck was reported as a total loss. It is unknown how the fire was started but may have been caused by an electrical malfunction.
