Where’s Heidi Heitkamp?
With her support of Obamacare and the bulk of it coming into effect next year I find it amazing that we hear nothing from her especially since the House is trying to hog-tie it so it can’t take effect. Also Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., have introduced an amendment to the budget resolution to repeal the medical device tax.” This will cost device manufacturers roughly $194 million per month and put 43,000 American jobs at risk,” Hatch said of the medical device tax yesterday after saying that “heading into its three-year anniversary, we know that Obamacare will lead to higher health care costs, fewer jobs, and smaller paychecks for American families.” Again, nothing from Heidi.
So she supports the 3.5 percent surcharge on insurance plans sold by federally run exchanges and the $63 fee for all persons covered by employers. The congressional Joint Committee on Taxation fully expects the $100 billion over the next 10 years “premium tax” will be passed on to insurers increasing their premiums another 2.5 percent, and they are raiding Medicare to help pay for it but even with that it is expected to add roughly 300 billion to the debt in the next decade and a trillion the decade following.
Not to mention the feds telling us who can get medical care and if you qualify for it what kind of care you will receive. End of Life consoling is mandatory as you age because you don’t want to be a burden on your government do you? Germany had the same provisions in their healthcare plan when the Nazis were in power, now we are getting the same, makes you wonder.
I guess she’s all for the 7 million to 20 million people who will lose their employer-funded insurance according to the Congressional Budget Office, plus many more will just lose their jobs as small business’s cut their staffs to get under the 50 employee cap.
A recent survey of insurers in 5 major cities by American Action Forum found they expect premiums to climb on average 169 percent.
But what does she care, she’s on the Congressional health care plan that has none of this and to top it all off she just voted to raise our taxes 1 trillion dollars over the next ten years. What a deal. Wait till she votes to take our guns away. Oh I know she said she wouldn’t but she was against gay marriage before she came out for it, so seeing is believing.
