State allows North Prairie to lift boil order
A boil order for customers of North Prairie Rural Water District in parts of Ward and McHenry County was lifted Tuesday afternoon.
A broken pipe caused overland flooding and led to groundwater entering the Voltaire treatment plant. North Prairie Rural Water District customers south of Minot and as far east as Granville either without drinking water or under a boil order while repairs were made. Following water testing, the State Health Department determined Tuesday that no contamination exists requiring continuance of the boil order.
