Marjorie E. Enger, 92-year-old resident of Senior Class Care, Nisswa, Minn., passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013.
She was born March 1, 1921, in New Rockford, to Oscar and Vera (McGoon) Danielson. She graduated from Minot High School and attended Minot State College. Marjorie was married to William S. Enger, who worked for the Great Northern Railway and later the Burlington Northern Railway as a yardmaster. While living in Minot, Marjorie worked for First National Bank as a bookkeeper and also at Ann’s Fashions for several years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Order of Eastern Star, and DAR.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, and sister, Dorothy Surles.
She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn and son-in-law Bill Marshall, of Nisswa; her sister, Vera May and husband Wes Miller, of San Fransisco; and brother, Gordon Danielson, of Sioux Falls, S.D.
At Marjorie’s request, arrangements are by The Cremation Society of Minnesota. There will be private services at a later date in North Dakota.
