Dustin Jackson

Dustin Jackson (White Warrior Boy Akicita Ska Hoksina), 38, St. Michael, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, near Tokio.

He was born May 21, 1924, to Deborah Jackson and Paul Driver Jr., in Devils Lake, and lived with his maternal grandparents, Ignatius and Sadie Jackson. Following high school graduation, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. He went to boot camp in San Diego on Sept. 14, 1994, and then served at Camp Pendleton, Calif., and in the Persian Gulf. He was discharged in April 1997.

Survivors: mother, Deborah Jackson; father, Paul Driver Jr.; brothers, Joseph Jackson Sr., Dwight Jackson and Brandon Driver; sisters, Gail Jackson, Lacie Driver, Jennifer Driver and Kami Driver-Garver.

Funeral: Today, 10 a.m., St. Michael’s Recreation Center, St. Michael.

Burial: St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, St. Michael.
