Klemisch signs with U-Mary

Turtle Lake-Mercer-McClusky’s Kevin Klemisch will play college basketball at the University of Mary, coach Jevin Budde announced Wednesday.

Klemisch was a team captain and three-year starter at TL-M-M and averaged 17 points and 11.5 rebounds per game as a senior. The 6-foot-7 forward was named all-Region 5 and first-team all-district 10 this season.

The McClusky native led the Trojans to a 21-3 record, a district title and a third-place finish in the region tournament in his final year.

Klemisch is the seventh U-Mary recruit for the 2013-14 season and first from North Dakota.
