The Minot State University football team announced the signing of a defensive back, a quarterback and an offensive lineman on Monday.

Marcus Williams, a 6-foot, 195-pound defensive back from Waddell, Ariz., recorded 27 tackles and five interceptions to earn first-team all-section honors as a senior.

San Jose, Calif., native Nick Baity – a 6-3, 185-pound quarterback – threw for 1,713 yards and 12 touchdowns at West Valley College (Calif.) last season.

The Beavers also signed junior-college offensive lineman Thomas Armstrong. The 6-3, 265-pounder started all 11 games for Central Lakes College (Minn.) and earned second-team all-conference honors.
