Six men to be ordained priests

BISMARCK Six men will be ordained into the priesthood for the Diocese of Bismarck on June 13 at 3 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Bismarck. Tickets are required.

They are:

The Rev. Mr. Patrick Cunningham from the Church of St. Therese, Minot. He has been appointed to be pastor of St. Bonaventure, Underwood, St. Catherine, Turtle Lake, and St. Edwin, Washburn.

The Rev. Mr. Joseph Evinger from the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, New Hradec. He has been appointed to be parochial vicar for the Church of St. Joseph, Williston, and St. John the Baptist, Trenton.

The Rev. Mr. Thomas Grafsgaard from the Church of Corpus Christi, Bismarck. He has been appointed to be parochial vicar for the Church of St. Leo and part-time religion instructor at Bishop Ryan Catholic School, both in Minot.

The Rev. Mr. Jared Johnson from the Church of St. Joseph, Williston. He has been appointed to be chaplain/instructor at St. Mary’s Central High School and parochial vicar for Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, both in Bismarck.

The Rev. Mr. Corey Nelson from the Church of Our Lady of Grace, Minot. He has been appointed to be parochial vicar for the Church of Saint Anne and part-time religion instructor at St. Mary’s Central High School, both in Bismarck.

The Rev. Mr. Robert Shea from the Church of St. Paul, Hazelton. He has been appointed to be par-ochial vicar for the Church of Ascension, Bismarck, from July 1 to Sept. 1 when he will complete his post-graduate studies in Rome.

All appointments are effective at noon July 1.

Minot church to host VBS sessions

Calvary Alliance Church will host “Kingdom Chronicles,” a vacation Bible school, Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the church at 715-20th Ave. NW, Minot.

The evenings, for youth in kindergarten through sixth grade, will include games, crafts, songs, drama and Bible stories. Snacks will be served.
