One man identified in fatal crash east of Stanley

STANLEY Tyler Fischer, 23, Minot, has been identified by the North Dakota Highway Patrol as the passenger of the 2013 GMC Sierra involved in the major accident on U.S. Highway 2, about three miles east of Stanley Friday morning. The state medical examiner’s office has verified the identity.

Two other men were pronounced dead following the accident but they have yet to be identified. The driver of the vehicle Fischer died in is a 26-year-old man from Wahpeton. The other death was a 41-year-old Minot man who was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
