The display in the Minot Public Library gallery for the month of July will be the Minot Knitters.

The Taube Museum of Art will present “Ladies Only” featuring Michele F, formerly Bead Unique, Wednesday, July 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. Each piece of their designer jewelry has been hand-crafted in their design studio and retail store. Designs and products are shown at

Also featured will be Vault Denim, local artists, the Taube Museum of Art gift shop, and the opportunity to bid on the Small Works Silent Auction featured in the Main Gallery. The first 50 guests will receive a free gift and there will be door prizes. The event will also feature wine, appetizers and live acoustic guitar music by Leonard Haabak. The Taube Museum of Art has created a new monthly adult art class, “Paint the Town Red!” The class is open to the artistic and the not-so-artistic. Each monthly session is $35 per person, which includes all the supplies needed. They will be held at various locations from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Class size is limited to 12 participants, so registration is recommended. Must be 21 to register. The Taube Museum of Art, 2 N. Main St. in Minot, is offering 24 art classes for children ages 2 and up as part of a “Summer ‘Art’ventures at the Taube Museum.” Classes run all summer through July 25. Classes include: Tie-Dye, Superheroes, animation, sculpture, watercolors, Sculpey, drawing, acrylic painting, three toddler classes, and three Art for Young Children classes. The Taube will also host a “Colorful Collages Art Camp” from July 29 to Aug. 1 with two sessions to choose from: 9 a.m. to noon, or 1 to 4 p.m. This camp is open to children ages 5 and up. Activities include: Meet the Artist, Be the Artist by creating mixed media pastries by Wayne Thiebaud, Blue Dog sculptures with George Rodrigue, and mixed media collage by Fridensreich Hundertwasser. Kids will work with paper, wood, paint, oil pastels, styluses, paste paper, watercolor, crayons and numerous collage materials. The James Memorial Art Center will present “no lumps, thank you. a bra anthologie” by Meg Spielman through July 31. The display is “an uplifting and entertaining photographic collection of playful brassieres created from a wide and wild variety of common objects,” according to a press release. These art images with their humorous titles will be released in a coffee table book this summer by Schiffer Books and as a bonus, also raise funds for breast cancer charities. The James is located at 621 First Avenue West in Williston. Gallery hours are 12:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday; Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
