Trinity upgrades services
A collaboration between Trinity Health and Mayo Clinic announced this week is good news for those using medical services in Minot.
Trinity is the 20th health care system to join the Mayo Clinic Care Network, which was established in 2011. By joining the network, Trinity Health physicians and other providers now have access to Mayo’s experts and resources. Physicians will also be able to interact eletronically using a feature called eConsults.
The goal of the collaboration is to enhance and improve the health care offered to Trinity Health patients by accessing knowledge and expertise provided by the respected staff at Mayo Clinic.
Population continues to grow in Minot and in the surrounding area served by Trinity Health and other facilities in its network, and that means locations in northwest North Dakota will continue to see a rise in patient usage. Patients and physicians will see the benefits of the Mayo Clinic collaboration immediately, as the system was scheduled to be in use earlier this week.
We commend Trinity Health for recognizing the need to continue to upgrade its health care delivery system. We have no doubt the collaboration with Mayo Clinic will serve patients and physicians well in the future.
