Lorraine Ruby Kessler, 76, Minot, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at her home.
Lorraine was born on Oct. 25, 1936, in Minot, the daughter of Elmer and Evelyn (Wilmot) Nienow. She was reared and educated in the Des Lacs area. She was once married to John Kessler and she worked with him in his TV repair shop, John’s TV Service, in Minot. In 1978, she went to work for State Farm Insurance agent Larry Wilkes and worked there for 30 years. Recently she worked for Experience Work, where she worked at Trinity Medical Center filing records.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose and loved to dance.
Lorraine is survived by: brother, Richard Nienow, Washburn; and sisters, Janice Knudson, Loveland, Colo., Judy Ferch, Sun City, Ariz., and Patricia Bachmeier, Fargo.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pam Kessler; parents; brother, Kenneth; infant sister, Marcella, and sisters, Evelyn Stach and Delories Weltikol; and infant brother, Duane.
Funeral service: Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Monday, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
