Carol Bradford, 75, Minot, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol Jean Whitted was born July 14, 1938, in Surrey Township, Ward County, to Lynn and Joyce (Peterson) Whitted. She was raised and educated at Norwich, graduating from high school in 1956. She moved to Minot, where she was employed at F.W. Woolworth’s for one year. She then was employed at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company as an operator for six years.
Carol married Robert Bradford in 1960 in Norwich. They made their home in Minot. Robert died March 3, 1996. She was employed by the Minot Public School in 1981 and was a lunch server at Minot High School-Central Campus for 17 years.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Minot, and a former member of the Doll Club of Western North Dakota.
Carol is survived by: her loving daughters, Brenda Bradford, Minot, and Bobbi Jo Bradford, Minot; five grandchildren; sister, Donna Hendrickson, Velva; and brother, Dennis Whitted, Walcott.
Carol was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Loris Moffat, Shirly Autry and Bunny Mischke.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
Visitation: Today, Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
