MSU 9th midway through NSIC Fall Preview

BRAINERD, Minn. – The Minot State University men’s golf team shot a 324 Monday at Madden’s Resort and sits in ninth place at the 10-team Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Fall Preview.

St. Cloud State University (Minn.) leads the team standings with 290 strokes, and Husky golfers Charlie West and Jack Barnhart are tied with the individual lead after posting 1-under 71s.

Senior Casey Gleich carded the low round for the Beavers with a 6-over-par 78 and freshman Nick Liebel shot an 80.

The final round begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. today.
