Rodney Neal, 61, Minot, passed away on Sept. 20, 2013, at his home. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Rodney was born Oct. 29, 1951, in Bismarck. He was a graduate of Minot High School and made a career as a contractor. Most of those years he worked for Mike Washek Construction.
Rodney met and married his lifetime love, Patricia, in 1991. They were able to spend the last 22 years by each other’s side.
Rodney had an enthusiasm for many things including gunsmithing and collecting, hunting and music. He was also an avid follower of the political scene. Rodney was a dedicated member of the National Rifle Association and the Minot Gun Club.
He is survived by: his wife, Patricia; his children, Nolan Ray, of Arthur; Daniel Ray (Peggy), of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Alice Olson (Ricky), of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and four grandchildren, Skyler, Asher, Sydney and Sam. He is also survived by his sister, Beverly Parra (Rocky), of Gilbert, Ariz.
His parents, Edwin and Evelyn Lindekugel, preceded him in death.
A celebration of his life: Will be held on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at 11 a.m., at Bread of Life Lutheran Church, Minot.
Visitation: Friday, one hour prior to the service, in the church.
