Woman accused of homicide out on bail

Maria Sutton, 32, Minot, was picked up by police Friday but is now out on bail, according to her attorney, Andrew Schultz, of Schultz Law Firm in Minot.

Sutton is charged with negligent homicide, a Class C felony, in the death of Robert Morrison, 49, Westhope, shortly after 1 a.m. on June 23. The death resulted from a head-on collision on North Broadway in Minot.

Bail was set at $5,000 cash or corporate surety.
