Don Woiwode, 54, Manteca, Calif., formerly of Minot, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness in a California hospital on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013.
Donald Mark Woiwode was born July 6, 1959, the son of Jerome and Criselda (Finken) Woiwode, in Minot. He graduated from Minot High School in 1977.
Don worked for Koland Inc. in the Minot area before moving to California. He spent 23 years as a welder/welder supervisor at Ameron Pipe Company in Tracy, Calif.
His loving family includes: mother, Cris Woiwode, Minot; fiancee, Melanie O’Bosky, Manteca; sisters, Verona Ferderer and Val Lavik, both of Minot; brothers, Mike (Marion) Woiwode, Al (Karen) Woiwode, and David Woiwode, all of Minot; an aunt, two uncles, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Don was preceded in death by: his father, Jerome F. Woiwode; brother, Jerome J. Woiwode; brother-in-law, Carl Ferderer; and niece, Laura Bruce.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Thursday, one hour prior to the service, at the church.
