Michael Kinnoin, 50, Coon Rapids, Minn., formerly of Stanley, was received into his new home, the Kingdom of God, after passing on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013.
His funeral service is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at 11 a.m., at American Lutheran Church, Stanley. Visitation is Sunday, Oct. 27, from 1 to 5 p.m., at Springan Funeral Home in Stanley.
Michael Alan Kinnoin was born April 19, 1963, to Meyer and Diane (Stahlberg) Kinnoin, in Stanley. He was raised on the family farm, attended school in Stanley and graduated from SHS in 1981.
In 1982, Mike and LaDonna Peterson of Stanley married and were together for three years.
In 1986 he moved to California, where he lived for eight years. He moved back to Stanley for a short time before relocating to the Minneapolis area. Mike met Teresa “Tere” Quintero and her two small children, Cindy and Kevin. Tere and Mike would soon marry and he adopted Cindy and Kevin, creating the family that would be his proudest accomplishment in his life.
Michael’s kind and caring manner in which he approached and lived his life gave love to the so many people he touched on his journey.
He is survived by: his wife, Tere, and their two children, Cindy and Kevin, of Coon Rapids, Minn.; his parents, Meyer and Diane Kinnoin, of Stanley; brothers, Robert and Kevin (Michele), of Stanley; and his sister, Kim (Mike) Bieri, of Fayetteville, Tenn.; grandmother, Lorraine Liebl, of Stanley; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Margarito (Irene) Quintero, Minneapolis; nieces, Kristen (Matthew) Bentley, Kelcie Bieri, Kelsey Hopkins, Emely and Amy Quintero; nephews, Thomas Bieri and Ivan Quintero; great-nephews, Kolton and Kason Bentley; great-niece, Kathryn Bentley; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
