Finance and Improvements Committee

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, second floor, 515-2nd Ave. SW.

Agenda: The committee will consider buying a flooded house foreclosed on by the N.D. Housing Finance Agency, grant projects, replacement of the water heater boiler in the municipal auditorium, special assessment districts and second reading of ordinances, including an ordinance allocating second-penny sales tax infrastructure funds to downtown parking structures. The committee will discuss an ordinance closing the city’s pension plan to new employees and options for employees who retired with pensions and are rehired.

Public Works and Safety Committee

When: Wednesday, 4:15 p.m.

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, second floor, 515-2nd Ave. SW.

Agenda: The committee will consider building relocations, street parking restrictions and new traffic control areas, pedestrian bridge repair and a development agreement for Flickertail 2nd Addition at Ward County Road 10A/46th Avenue Northeast, east of U.S. Highway 83 North.
