Saunders resigns as soccer coach

Minot High boys soccer coach Cody Saunders has resigned after five seasons, the school announced Tuesday in a press release.

Saunders, recently hired as the Ramstad Middle School athletic director, said he wants to focus on that job and caring for his newborn twin boys.

The Magicians finished 8-4-5 this fall and advanced to the state semifinals.

MHS AD Mitch Lunde said there is no timeline for hiring a replacement, but “we’d obviously like to get it filled as soon as possible.”
