Minot Planning Commission

When: Monday, 6:30 p.m.

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, second floor, 515-2nd Ave. SW

Agenda: The commission will consider housing subdivision requests, including the 55th Crossing project, which would include lots for a school and fire station; a Great Plains Energy Park 2; and variances to heights of accessory buildings;

Finance and Improvements Committee

When: Monday, 4:15 p.m.

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, second floor, 515-2nd Ave. SW.

Agenda: The committee will consider city support for an affordable senior housing project in southeast Minot, bids on an employee assistance (counseling) program, budget amendments for police and technology purchases, changing the tax cap and taxpayer expense reductions in the city sales tax, purchase of a house in the flood protection plan footprint from the county and an amended acquisition program that reduces the buyout offer on non-rehabilitated homes to comply with HUD requirements. The committee will receive information on an affordable housing action plan.

Airport Committee

When: Monday, following Finance and Improvements Committee

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, second floor, 515-2nd Ave. SW.

Agenda: The committee will consider bids on airport vending machine services, a request from Pietsch Aircraft to sublease space in the maintenance hangar, concept approval for cargo hangar expansion, a resolution to establish airport fees and rates and an amendment to the professional services agreement for the new terminal design.
