Minot State track teams picked last in NSIC

The Minot State University men’s and women’s indoor track teams were each selected last in their respective Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference preseason coaches polls.

Juniors Tyler Flatland (hurdles, 400 meters) and Kirk Capdeville (pole vault) were chosen as “Athletes to Watch” for the MSU men’s team, while sprinter Sienna Dailey and thrower Kamilah Vanterpool were given the same distinction for the women’s squad.

The Minnesota State-Mankato men and the University of Mary women were tabbed as preseason favorites.
