MHS student first in regional

McKenzie Turner, Minot High School-Magic City Campus, received first place overall in the consumer math challenge at the Family Career Community Leaders of America regional cluster meetings in Omaha, Neb.

During the conference, attendees donated socks to Skate for Change, a nonprofit organization based in Lincoln, Neb., that empowers youth to use skateboarding as a means for giving back to the less fortunate in their communities. The socks were donated for the homeless.
