Fire destroys 2 Williston apartment buildings

WILLISTON (AP) – Fire has destroyed two apartment buildings under construction in Williston.

Firefighters were called to a complex of four buildings being built on the west side of the city at about 2 a.m. Friday. Two three-story buildings were engulfed and burned to the ground. Firefighters saved the other two.

There were no reports of injuries, and the department says there were no nearby homes that needed to be evacuated.

The state fire marshal’s office was being called in to help determine the cause.
