More bang for their buckets

All donations made to the Minot Salvation Army today and on Saturday will be doubled, with up to $2 million in collected funds being matched by an anonymous group of donors. In addition to applying to donations dropped into the Salvation Army’s red kettles, it includes online and phoned-in contributions as well.

The match was arranged in order to boost the church group’s Christmas campaign in North Dakota and Minnesota, where kettle collections have been down this year.
