Stop leads to multiple charges

Two Minot residents, 21-year-old Jordan S. Apolzan, 1305-31st Ave. SE, and 31-year-old Luis Cruz, 519-11th Ave. NW, were arrested by Minot Police following a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Third Street Northwest late Friday evening.

According to a Minot Police report, Cruz, the passenger in the vehicle, was arrested for possession of marijuana. Apolzan, the driver, was charged with failure to transfer title.

After arriving at the Ward County Jail, Cruz was also charged with possession of a schedule IV drug, a Class C felony. Apolzan was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a correctional center, a Class B felony; and possession of paraphernalia other than marijuana, a Class C felony.
