Man injured in impaired crash

WILLISTON Daniel Wayne McKnight, 36, Casper, Wyo., was injured and cited for driving under the influence following a crash at 8 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 85, about 14 miles north of Willston, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

McKnight was traveling north on the snow-covered highway in a 2003 GMC Yukon SUV when the Highway Patrol says his vehcile entered the southbound lane and collided with a Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by Kory Lee Hindman, 26, of Denver. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

McKnight was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Williston.

Hindman was not injured in the crash. Both vehicles were totaled.
