Shame on Obama
Citizens of the greatest nation in the world, arguably the greatest nation in the history of the world, should not have to live in fear, especially not a fear that is largely contrived by their own government.
It was perhaps no surprise to anyone who picks up a newspaper every day that Americans deemed health care, specifically the implementation of Obamacare, as the biggest news story of 2013.
We don’t relish saying it, but “We told you so.”
Obama may be “awesome” to some duped politicians but the American people, because they pay the bills, recognized trouble early on. Now, millions of us don’t know whether we’ll A, have health insurance at this time next year, or B, be able to afford health insurance AND all of the out-of-pocket expenses associated with Obamacare.
Whatever the real purpose of Obamacare is, the resulting fear for our very well being and that of our loved ones is unconscionable.
The same AP-Times Square New Year’s Eve Poll, conducted by GfK Public Affairs and Corporate Communications, indicates that Americans are hopeful for a better year in 2014 49 percent think their own fortunes will improve in 2014.
Again, we’re not surprised. We are indeed an optimistic people and, for now, still control our own destiny.
