C. Mark Gourneau

BELCOURT Clifford “Mark” Gourneau, 74, Belcourt, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, in a Belcourt hospital.

He was born Oct. 30, 1939, to Louis and Agnes Gourneau, in Belcourt. His mother died when he was 2 years old and he was raised by his grandmother, Clemence Laducer. He enlisted in the Army in 1961 and served until his discharge. He married Ruby Sexton in 1962, and they later divorced. He married Darlene Marshall and they later divorced.

Survivors: son, Mark Gourneau, Kingston Springs, Tenn.; daughters, Lisa Thomas, Baltimore, Linda Lee, of Franklin, Tenn., Sheila Cisneros, Kenosha, Wis.; 14 grandchildren; and his sister, Alice Malaterre, Belcourt.

Funeral: Monday, 10 a.m., St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Belcourt.

Burial: St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, in the spring.

Visitation: Today, 6 p.m., in the church.

Rosary service: Today, 8 p.m., in the church.
