Finance and Improvements Committee

Agenda: The committee will consider contract renewal with Minot Area Development Corp., budget amendments, establishment of a city employee retirement benefits plan, hiring temporary legal services, development agreements to use CDBG funds to assist in creating workforce housing, support for an affordable housing project in south Minot and infrastructure project plans and bids.

Airport Committee

When: Today, after Finance and Improvements Committee meeting

Agenda: The committee will consider closeout of a taxiway project and an agreement with Trillion Aviation for airport development services. The committee will receive a report on the 10-year capital improvement projects.

Public Works and Safety Committee

When: Wednesday, 4:15 p.m.

Where: Minot City Hall, council chambers, second floor, 515-2nd Ave. SW

Agenda: The committee will consider bids on city equipment, architectural plans for a fire station remodel and flood-proofing the lower level of the library, a drainage permit for Verendrye Electric, selection of an engineer on a project to replace traffic signals that have corroded and been removed, encroachment requests for signs, a sewer connection for North Prairie Rural Water to serve several business, a signal improvement project, renewal of permits for mechanical amusement devices for adult businesses and closing of downtown underground vaults associated with an infrastructure project.
