CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S CLUB TO MEET TUESDAY Minot Christian Women’s Club will meet Tuesday from 12:15 to 2 p.m. in the Grand Hotel, in Minot, for its monthly luncheon and meeting. The theme will be “Around the World.”

The speakers, Ruth Skar and Karen Anderson, will share the experiences and lessons they learned on their mission trips to India and Mexico. “Praise His Name,” a group formed by the children of Kristie Martin, will give a dance ministry presentation.

The cost is $10, inclusive.

The event is open to all Minot area women.

RETREAT WEEKEND TO HEAL HURTING MARRIAGES PLANNED Retrouvaille, a Christian peer ministry program for couples in hurting marriages, will hold a Retrouvaille weekend retreat in Bismarck Jan. 17-19.

The Retrouvaille program (which is a French word for “rediscovery”) consists of a weekend experience and a series of aftercare sessions offered within the three months following the weekend phase. The Diocese of Bismarck’s office of family ministry will sponsor the national Retrouvaille weekend with ongoing aftercare support in Bismarck.

The goals of the Retrouvaille weekend are to promote personal and couple healing, provide an environment for spiritual growth, create an empowering environment, teach the technique of dialogue, affirm the couples and help build their confidence, and help couples to incorporate the values of Retrouvaille into their married relationship.

Registration is limited and only accepted through a strictly confidential interview process.

PRIMETIMERS GROUP TO MEET THURSDAY The PrimeTimers Fellowship group will meet Thursday at 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Our Redeemer’s Church, 700-16th Ave. SE.

The program will be provided by the Rev. Hampton Kavlie, of Minot. Kavlie, who once served at Our Redeemer’s, is now retired.

Group 1 will serve refreshments.
