Search for New Town man set for today

NEW TOWN The Three Affiliated Tribes will conduct a search today in the New Town area for Daniel Mossett, of New Town, who has been missing since November 2013.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the Three Affiliated Tribes Police Department adjacent to the New Town Civic Center, at 9 a.m. People are asked to dress warm and appropriately for the weather.

The search was ordered by Tex Hall, chairman of the Three Affiliated Tribes, at the request of the Mossett family, said Glenda Baker Embry, tribal public relations officer. She said a contracted helicopter will be involved in the search that is being organized by tribal police.

Mossett’s sister, Jill Hall, of New Town, said her brother, who is 32, grew up in Twin Buttes and has been living in New Town. She said he was last seen by his girlfriend who reported him missing Nov. 14.

The search will be conducted in the New Town area, with the search concentrated in the Van Hook area. More details were not available at this time.
