Drug arrest on North Broadway

Minot police officers made contact with two people in the parking lot of Superpumper at 2005 North Broadway on Sunday. During the contact the officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the car was conducted, leading to the driver and passenger being arrested on multiple charges. Jair De Jesus, 29, and Jordanna Davis, 28, both of Minot, were charged with multiple offenses.

De Jesus was charged with driving under suspension (Class B misdemeanor), possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver (Class B felony), possession of a controlled substance (suspected meth, Class C felony), possession of drug paraphernalia for other than marijuana (Class C felony), possession of marijuana paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor) and carrying a concealed weapon (Class A misdemeanor).

Davis was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver (Class B felony), possession of drug paraphernalia for other than marijuana (Class C felony), possession of a controlled substance (suspected meth, Class C felony) and possession of marijuana paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor).

Both De Jesus and Davis were transported to Ward County Jail.
