MSU to name football coach

The Minot State Athletic Department will introduce its next football coach during a press conference at 3 p.m. today, the school announced Wednesday evening in a press release. The conference will take place at the Beaver Dam in the Student Center.

Senior athletic department officials and donors are expected to speak as well as the new coach.

The three finalists for the position are Wayne State (Neb.) defensive coordinator Mike Aldrich, former Minnesota-State Mankato head coach Todd Hoffner and Wisconsin-Stevens Point offensive coordinator Aaron Vlcko. Vlcko had his on-campus interview on Saturday, Hoffner’s was on Monday and Aldrich’s on Tuesday.
