Michelle ‘Rosie’ Amrein

Michelle Amrein, 31, Burlington, formerly of Minot, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, in her home.

Michelle Rae “Rosie” Amrein was born June 28, 1982, the daughter of Billy Amrein and Debra (Ringsaker) Amrein, in Minot. She was nicknamed Rosie by her grandmother, Donna. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 2001.

Michelle worked for the Minot Vocational Workshop for a time, before working at the Vegas Motel.

She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church, where she attended with her dad and uncle. She enjoyed going to the 2nd Story Social Club, playing Bingo, riding bike, hunting, fishing, bowling, and shopping with her aunts. She was a perfectionist who loved her cat, Jennie, and enjoyed caring for infants and children.

Her loving family includes: mother, Debra Ringsaker, Minot; father, Billy Amrein, Burlington; brothers, Shawn Ringsaker, Minot, and Justin Amrein, Glenburn; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Michelle was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Auman and Barbara Ward; and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Donna Amrein; uncle, Ronnie Ringsaker; aunt, Diane Ringsaker; cousin, Tristen Rakness; great-aunts, Betty Ann Boehm and Kae Amrein; and great-uncle, Tommy Ahmann.

Funeral: Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at 10 a.m., at Apostolic Faith Church, Minot.

Interment: Saron Lutheran Cemetery, South Prairie.

Visitation: Today, Feb. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorials: Are preferred to the 2nd Story Social Club or the Souris Valley Animal Shelter, both Minot.
