Minot woman dies under suspicious circumstances

A 44-year-old Minot woman was found injured Sunday at an apartment in the 2800 block of East Burdick Expressway when police and community ambulance responded to a 6:36 a.m. report of a possible death there. She died of her injuries at Trinity Hospital in Minot shortly after 1 p.m. later that day.

The death is being treated as a “death under suspicious circumstances,” according to the Minot Police Department.

Darin Lee Parker, 47, was also found inside the apartment and was arrested for violation of a judicial order but has not been identified as a person of interest in the death.

Parker was convicted of disorderly conduct and two counts of domestic violence in 2013, with the most recent domestic violence charge from October.
