New app for Tribes’ clubs info

NEW TOWN – The Boys and Girls Club of the Three Affiliated Tribes has launched a new free app that provides constantly updated information about the club. It’s the latest innovation the club is using to better serve members and keep the public informed about its youth services.

According to Ryan Eagle, club executive director, the app was specially created for the club, putting the club’s Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram accounts into one location. The app includes a homepage that links to the club’s website, along with an events page, photos page and contact page.

“The wonderful thing about this free app is that it allows us to send out notifications to members and parents about big events happening at our club or unexpected closings due to the weather,” said Eagle. “This is something we’ve been wanting to do for a long time.”

The app can be downloaded for free in the Apple iTunes Store, the Google Play Store or on the Amazon.com Store. To download the app, search for BGCTAT.

“Our club continues to grow and this app provides the public with a ‘one-stop-shop’ of information. It’s just another way we are staying connected so we can better serve our communities,” said Eagle.

The Boys and Girls Club of the Three Affiliated Tribes is the largest Boys and Girls Club in North Dakota, serving more than 1,600 youth in six communities on the Fort Berthold Reservation. The club is an organization open to all races, religions and ethnic cultures. Youth have the opportunity to be part of nationally recognized programs that help young people succeed in school, stay healthy, learn important life skills, explore vocational choices, and pursue interests in the arts and recreation.
