Schools are paying a price

Townley R. Knutson, Fargo

I am a former resident of Minot and our children graduated from Minot High School.

After I read the details of the new school bond issue, a question came to mind. Can anyone remember the need for $3,720,000 in “safety and security and cameras” in the Minot schools prior to the 10 Commandments, Bibles and prayer in Jesus’ name being taken out of the schools? There is a price to pay (including monetarily) for trying to keep the Lord out of government, whether it is local, state or national. Malachi 3:14 tells us, “Ye have said, it is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?”
