The Lord’s Cupboard Welcome Table food pantry: Fridays, 2 to 5 p.m., at 103-14th Ave. SW, east of the Easter Seals Goodwill store. The food pantry is also available Mondays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Wednesdays, 1 to 4 p.m., at 103-14th Ave. SW.

The 21st annual Minot Prairie Quilt Festival will be held at the Grand Hotel from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $3. The show features quilts, a vendors mall, flea market and tea room.


March for Babies will be held Saturday, March 22, at the Minot State University Dome. March for Babies is the largest fundraiser for the March of Dimes. Funds raised help fund research for the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. The event will include games, food and community spirit. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the walk kicking off at 10 a.m.

The William G. Carroll American Legion Post No. 26 will be hosting its annual National Medal of Honor Day ceremony on Wednesday, March 26, at 3 p.m. at the Wellington Assisted Living facility, 601-24th Ave. SW. Post No. 26 will be remembering and honoring the 19 North Dakota Medal of Honor recipients as they appear on the Medal of Honor memorial wall located at Minot’s Roosevelt Park. The public is invited.

Minot State University Department of Nursing will host a site review for continuing accreditation of its Baccalaureate Nursing Program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. The public is invited to meet the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, at Minot State University, Student Center, Fisher Room, Second Floor.
