Gladys Marie Pederson, 94, Minot, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at a Minot hospital.
Gladys was born on Oct. 4, 1919, in Tioga, the daughter of Otto and Emma Moe. She was raised and educated in Tioga. Gladys was united in marriage to Axel Pederson in 1951 in Spokane, Wash. The couple made their home in Minot, where Gladys worked various jobs after Axel’s untimely death in 1972.
Gladys was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot.
Survivors: son, Gary (Jackie) Cyrus, Minot; sisters-in-law, Ruth Moe, Minot, and Lavern Moe, Fessenden.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband; Axel; daughter, Carol Murfin; brothers, Joseph, Clarence, Arnold, Herman, Elmer, Russell, Melvin, Willard, Leonard, Leland, Burnette, Donald and Lester Moe; sisters, Pearl Jorstad, Myrtle Norton, Helen Fjelds; and three siblings who died in infancy.
Visitation: Friday, March 28, 2014, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., with prayers at 2:30 p.m., all at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot
