MUSICAL ‘THE CHOICE’ TO BE PRESENTED IN MINOT CHURCH “The Choice,” a dramatic musical for Easter, will be presented April 19 at 7 p.m. and April 20 at 10:30 a.m. in West Minot Church of God, 1105-16th St. NW.

GOOD FRIDAY BREAKFAST SCHEDULED The annual Good Friday pancake, sausage and scrambled eggs breakfast will be Friday from 7 to 10 a.m. in Congregational United Church of Christ, 430 N. Broadway, Minot.

The cost is $5 per person. Children age 10 and under will not be charged.

All proceeds will be used for the church Handicapped Accessibility Program.

WESTERN PRAIRIE CLUSTER OF ELCA SPRING GATHERING TO BE HELD IN MOHALL The spring gathering of the Western Prairie Cluster of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will be held April 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, Mohall. The theme is “Planted with Love. Growing in Grace.”

Each unit is asked to bring roll-call items for Metigoshe Ministries’ garden. Individuals are encouraged to wear their favorite gardening hat, gloves or other garden-themed accessory. They may also bring personal care items for the domestic violence office at Mohall.

The guest speaker will be Janet Rhoads. She will talk about her trip to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria. Other speakers will address Metigoshe Ministries and the upcoming Ninth Triennial Convention of the Women of the ELCA in North Carolina.

A light breakfast and noon lunch are included in the $8 registration fee.

Women interested in attending should notify cluster secretary, Gayle Gorseth, at 453-3271 by April 21.

CHURCH CHOIR TO PRESENT EASTER CANTATA The choir from Our Savior Lutheran Church in Minot will present an Easter cantata, “Who Do You Say That I Am?,” Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. worship service and later in the day at 4 p.m. in the church at 3705-11th St. SW.

PRIMETIMERS GROUP TO MEET THURSDAY The PrimeTimers Fellowship Group will meet Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Our Redeemer’s Church, 700-16th Ave. SE.

Dennis Schmidt, of Minot, will share about his mission trip to Kenya, Africa.

Group 1 will serve refreshments.

OPEN COMMUNION SERVICE TO BE HELD ON GOOD FRIDAY An Open Communion Service will be held on Good Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Vincent United Methodist Church, 1024-2nd St. SE, Minot.

People are encouraged to spend a few minutes in prayer and contemplation in the church sanctuary before receiving communion from Pastor Ray Baker or Pastor Don Andrews.
