Sylvia Walhood

Sylvia Rose Walhood, 30, of Minot, formerly of Beulah, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, in Minot.

Sylvia Rose graced the world with her presence on Jan. 31, 1984, in Decatur, Ill., to her very proud parents. Sylvia could light up a room just walking in. She had a very contagious smile and a heart of gold. She never met a stranger; they were instant friends. She was raised and educated in Beulah, graduating in 2002. On Aug. 30, 2006, the first of her pride and joys, her son, Tegan Carter Walhood, entered the world. In 2009, she was united in marriage to Brad Walhood, the man of her dreams. He forever held her heart. On Oct. 9, 2008, her second pride and joy, Hunter Kylan Walhood, was born. Sylvia was blessed for a third time on Dec. 14, 2013, by the birth of Rylan Anthony Walhood, another pride and joy. Sylvia lived her life for her children. They were her world and her reason for living and breathing. Her goal was to be the best mother she could possibly be.

Her heart will be forever cherished and missed by: her three children, Tegan, Hunter and Rylan, their sister, Bryanna, and their brother, Austin; her father, Mark Erbes, of Decatur; her mother Sharon Milewski, of Beulah; her beloved stepfather, Daniel Milewski, of Beulah; sisters, Sascha (Eric) Demory, of Minot, Josephine Milewski, of Fargo, Elizabeth Milewski, of Beulah; one niece, Phoebe Demory, of Minot. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends.
